Thanks for the listen and the critique.  I just stuck this song out there to get us used to doing what you did, and I appreciate that you are being very active on the site. You are the kind of person that I hoped for here!  Keep it up my friend!

Hey Dave, I think it sounds really great!  I think the music and arrangement are excellent, and I could only possibly critique the lyrics - and I say this having written many lyrics that would fall in this category, but I think they are too general, meaning there isn't a story line with characters to whom specific things or events happen to as the song progresses.  For example, I think if verse two went into a particular event or situation that one of the characters is dealing with it would bring the listener in more because we have all gone through similar things and would reinforce the title line even more.  That said, great work Dave!
