Hello Kyle!

Great song!  And please forgive me, but I'm a notorious re-writer.  I've done a quick rewrite to say it how I would.  Doesn't mean there's anything wrong with what you wrote; it just means I would have done it different.  But, who the heck am I?

Anyway, I'm trying this and hoping I don't offend you.  I'm hoping I might have said something you could use.  If not, please ignore me.  Again, you've written a good song.  My only strong nit is to say "our Father" rather than "my manager." He's her Father too! Bring her into the family.  And as a minor point, you're not quite conversational in a spot or two.  LInes 2 and 3 don't flow well for me.

Hello all!

Below are the selections for the above named pitch.  Please note that there was a great deal of leniency applied in submitting these songs as compared to the submissions criteria that’s documented in the “Site Blog” tab on the home page.  It is very important that Songpress Music obtains and maintains a high level of integrity and strong reputation for submitting quality materials to all solicitors.  Truth is, I’m submitting songs here because I like them, even though they violate our rules and criteria.  Consider this a gift!  We will be standing by our documentation when it is complete and everyone has had a chance to understand it.  I know this pitch was a rush, and so I’m cutting some slack. But, as time goes on, we will be tightening up!  Song ratings will include adherence to rules, formats, lyrics matching the demos, etc.  When there are enough submissions to result in more competition, adherence to all the details will become much more critical.
